I recently downloaded/started using several Android applications to make some of the things I do regularly easier or more attractive. If any of these appeal to you, download them and experiment with them. I would be writing them in categories.
STEM
- Desmos: I use this to plot graphs and create diagrams. Geogebra is another option.
- VerbTex (Pro): I use it to create attractive LaTeX files on my phone while connected to the Internet.
- TeX Writer: I use it to create ‘flat’ LaTeX files on my phone when I’m not connected to the Internet.
- TeXEditor: I use this to create ready-to-share LaTeX written equation pictures.
- Pydroid 3: An excellent Python IDE. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re trying to learn the backend, but it’s a fantastic resource for those interested in AI.
- QuickEdit: I use this to create HTML, CSS, and JS files.
- Dcoder: An excellent IDE that supports a variety of programming languages. It is necessary to have access to the Internet.
- Wolfram Alpha: I use this to solve math problems and learn the solutions.
- Periodic Table: A fantastic app showcasing the periodic table with many cool features.
- Lab Hacks: If you are working in a lab, this is an excellent resource to use.
Language
- Duolingo: This app helped me study Russian, German, and Kiswahili. I can communicate in all three languages at a basic level.
- The ASL App: This helped me learn American Sign Language. I planned to study Nigerian Sign Language; however, only some materials are available online.
